For more than 20 years Raidlight has been innovating to offer you ever more innovative, technical and lightweight products.
As a pioneer in trail running, we have developed technologies to provide the best possible support for runners in terms of comfort, performance and durability.
MP+ Membrane
The perfect balance between waterproofing and breathability
Developed and technically improved for over 20 years, the MP+ membrane uses hydrophilic technology to create one of the most efficient membranes on the market.
Known for its high breathability, waterproofing and durability, we use different versions (stretch, ultralight, 2-layer or 3-layer) according to the intended use and user, allowing runners to stay comfortable whatever the weather.
Eco Polyester
Recycled
Our technical and eco-responsible range
Raidlight has been developing more environmentally friendly products since 2008 without compromising the comfort and quality of our products.
After initially using bamboo fibre, today 20% of our textile collection is made from recycled polyester. A key development in our 2020-2022 projects, our objective is to have 75% of our products in eco-responsible materials by 2022.
Made in the French Alps
Our Workshop
At Raidlight we have been developing products manufactured in the French Alps since 2009. Since 2014, we have been based in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse a modern textile production facility with innovative technologies to produce a range of products (Packs/Race Vests, Belts and Clothing) in our Made In French Alps workshop. Top of the range products, using modern technologies such as laser cutting and thermobonding.
3D Mesh
3D "honeycomb" structure fabric
3D Mesh fabric is made from ultrafine polyester yarns with exceptional breathability and comfort.
The 3D honeycomb structure makes the fabric quicker to dry. The 3D Mesh provides maximum comfort during high activity.
Ultra Breathable / Quick Drying
DryLight
DryLight® fabric has been developed to offer you ultralight and high performance clothing.
Developed with 100% ultralight and ultrafine polyester fibres, the DryLight® stretch fabric has an additional QuickDry treatment, to improve moisture movement and drying time, essential for comfort and reducing risk of chafe.
Thermofleece
Balanced insulation and comfort
Our Thermofleece fabric technology is perfect for cold weather, high stretch and brushed inner traps warm air for insulation and rapidly moves moisture away from the skin.
Soft touch gives excellent comfort next to skin in cold weather.
Innovation and Efficiency
Lazer Tech
Lazertech is the process of cutting patterns using a laser for accuracy.
This technology allows for a clean and accurate cut of patterns, reducing waste and enabling use of smaller seam allowance, we also use laser to cut additional ventilation holes in key areas of clothing.

Flatlock stitching
Flat seam stitching
Flatlock seams allow edge to edge joining of fabrics, reducing bulk in the stitched areas
this improves comfort and reduces the risk of chafe from stitch lines as there is less material and the seams are not thicker than the rest of the garment.
Freelock
Micrometric dial adjustment
The Freelock adjustment system is a technology with a precise micrometric dial, allowing 1mm adjustments.
Used on most of our Packs and Race Vests, this system allows for perfect adjustment and fit to reduce bounce to minimum, helping your pack stick to your back like a limpet.

Dupont Sorona
Polyester microfibre insulation
Developed by the Dupont-de-Nemours group, SORONA is a polyester microfibre composed of 37% corn glucose.
The manufacture of this fibre consumes 30% less energy and emits 50% less GHG (greenhouse gas) as compared to the production of nylon from non-renewable resources. It is soft, quick-drying and has excellent moisture wicking properties.

Certification
OEKO-TEX
In line with our commitment to environmental responsibility, most fabrics we use are Oeko-Tex certified.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances.

Certification
BlueSign
The BlueSign APPROVED label ensures that partner companies are committed to a comprehensive programme of continuous improvement and that their suppliers also meet a clear set of specifications.
In addition to certifying the legal compliance of the fabric, the BlueSign label is a guarantee of environmental and social responsibility. It looks at all stages of manufacturing, from the extraction of raw materials to the finished fabric we buy, and links the different companies and people along the supply chain. It is one of the most stringent and comprehensive labelling schemes available today.
