*The Schmerber is the unit of measure of waterproof efficiency.In order to measure the waterproofness of a fabric, we place the fabric under a tube filled with water. The next step is to calculate the height at which the first drops of water pass through the fabric. The higher the water level, the more impermeable the fabric.
