All our waterproof jackets feature the MP+® membrane to offer you maximum protection, even under extreme conditions. Their waterproof-breathable membrane (up to 25K/50K) ensures full protection against heavy rain while effectively wicking away sweat. Lightweight, compact, and field-tested, they are designed for long-distance trail running and ultras. The Ultralight 3.0 25K/50K model is our best choice to stay protected even in a downpour.
All our waterproof jackets meet the mandatory equipment requirements for ultra-trails such as the UTMB®.

A waterproof jacket is designed to protect you from rain thanks to its watertight membrane. It is essential in bad weather and often required as mandatory gear on long trails and ultra trails. Conversely, a windbreaker jacket is lighter and compressible. It is used in dry but cool conditions, especially at high altitude or in strong winds. At Raidlight, you will find both types of jackets, each suited to a specific situation on the trails.

It mainly depends on the size of your pack. Some of our jackets are designed to be worn over a trail vest, with a built-in gusset that allows you to cover your pack while still maintaining good freedom of movement. This is the case with the Top Extreme Ultra MP+® jacket, which can cover a pack up to 18 litres, or the Ultralight 3.0, suited for packs up to 12 litres. Other jackets, more fitted, are designed to be worn directly on the base layer, beneath the pack.

Yes. All our jackets are guaranteed free of PFAS, harmful chemical substances for the environment. Our entire range includes recycled materials, with models designed to last over time. Part of our textile production is also carried out in France, in our workshops in Chartreuse. This commitment to a more responsible trail running is at the heart of our approach, to protect the grounds on which you run every day.
