Overmitts are much more versatile for runners as a waterproof layer for your hands as they have no bulk and are incredibly light, the problem with waterproof gloves is the necessary construction adds bulk and weight. By using the same materials found in our jackets we can offer a true "3rd layer" protection, without the weight and bulk, this allows you to layer up with other gloves underneath for insulation according to conditions.
