MIRA RAI INITIATIV

MRI was founded by Mira Rai in 2017 and is committed to supporting trail-running and trail communities in Nepal. MRI believes that trail running can change lives and that the power of the sport enables people to value themselves and their natural environment.

Lack of infrastructure is one of the main constraints on the Nepalese sports sector. Despite this, the MRI has been providing stipends to athletes since 2017 to pay for their rented rooms in Kathmandu, as the city is the main training ground for these athletes.

A TRAINING CENTER IN NEPAL

Mira aims to build a high-performance trail running center that will be the preferred training ground for many international, national and local runners, enthusiasts and elite athletes. The center will have excellent facilities for training in the best possible conditions (medical services, accommodation, catering, etc.).
