In 1999, Benoit needed to lighten up for a successful raid, and as a textile engineer and top-level sportsman, he developed and marketed his first equipment directly. As a brand, he chose to combine his passion for running with the promise of lighter equipment.

Evolution of the Ultralight MP+ jacket

Since 1999, Raidlight has revolutionised the world of waterproof jackets by combining performance and lightness. Designed for trail enthusiasts, these jackets incorporate advanced technologies such as waterproof and breathable fabrics, while keeping weight to a minimum.

The jacket TOP R-LIGHT of 1999 was a real revolution, as was the new version of 2024,ULTRALIGHT MP+ 3.0. With 25,000 Schmerber of waterproofness and 50,000 Schmerber of breathability, it more than satisfies the regulations of the most demanding ultra-trails, such as the UTMB.®.
