Essential gaiters for your desert runs

Protect yourself from sand and the elements with our must-have gaiters, specially designed for desert races.

New : have your gaiters fitted directly by Raidlight!

Features

- Ultra-compact
- Stretch fabric
- Durable
- Hypalon reinforcement on the toe
- A lined gaiter to guarantee you optimal resistance during your outings in hostile terrain.

- Velcro strip to sew onto the shoe for attachment. We strongly advise against gluing the gaiter to the trail shoe, as we have noticed in several races that the glue is not heat resistant.

- The desert gaiter has a unique and innovative fastening system. Sand can easily get into every crevice, which is why the gaiter comes with a velcro fastening system that you need to attach to your shoes to ensure a tight hold. We recommend sewing the velcro directly onto the shoes, and especially not gluing this velcro to avoid any issues.

Composition

77% Polyamide; 13% Elastane; 10% Recycled Polyester
- Stretch fabric: follows movements and prevents deformation

Maintenance

- Wash at a temperature not exceeding 30°C
- No tumble drying
- No fabric softener
- Do not iron
- No dry cleaning

RAIDLIGHT EXPERTISE FOR TRAIL GAITERS

Raidlight gaiters are the result of in-depth research into the needs of runners in extreme environments.
Made from lightweight and breathable materials, they prevent fine sand from getting into your shoes while ensuring optimal ventilation. True comfort allies, they are essential to protect your feet during long and demanding races.

Raidlight now leverages its expertise in desert races by offering the installation of desert gaiters directly in its workshop in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse.
This process involves sewing a velcro strip onto your shoe to securely and durably attach the gaiters. For maximum protection, it is essential to have them sewn rather than glued: glue does not withstand heat or sand abrasion.
Our tailors carry out this service with the French craftsmanship that has made Raidlight renowned.

Customer photo review of DÉSERT SAND PROTECT
