Raidlight partner of the Grand Raid of Réunion Island

Raidlight, historic partner of the Grand Raid de la Réunion since 2015, is proud to be associated again with the GRR.

The Grand Raid de la Réunion, legendary Ultra Trail crossing the island of Réunion from South to North, sets the whole peninsula on fire for a week. This race, voted the most iconic by French Ultra Trail runners according to a survey by the newspaper l’Equipe, will take place from October 15 to 18, 2026.

Raidlight is proud to continue this collaboration with the entire Grand Raid de la Réunion team, which brings together participants from all backgrounds around the same passion.

With 6 participations including a 2nd place and three times in the top 5, the Grand Raid is the ultra that gave me extraordinary emotions and sparked my passion for Réunion Island. The Grand Raid de la Réunion is a human-sized organization and a race that rhymes with friendliness, authenticity, adventure, sharing... values very close to those of Raidlight. So it is with pride that we were able to partner Raidlight with the Grand Raid de la Réunion.

The Grand Raid de la Réunion brings together 5 races of different intensity:

  • La Diagonale des fous: 165km and 10,210m of positive elevation gain
  • Le Trail du Bourbon 109km and 6,260m of elevation gain
  • La Mascareigne 72km and 3,880m of elevation gain
  • Le Zembrocal (relay) 148km and 7,990m of elevation gain
  • Le Metis Trail 50km and 2,600m of elevation gain
