The anti-venom pump is an essential accessory for all your trail runs, hikes, or overnight stays. Compact and easy to use, it allows you to act swiftly after a sting or contact with a stinging animal or plant.

Simple, mechanical, and painless, it helps to limit the spread of venom so you can continue your activity with peace of mind.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Select the suction cup best suited for the sting or bite. Attach it to the end of the pump. Pull the piston strongly (halfway for a child).
2. Apply the suction cup to the wound.
3. Press the piston firmly, making sure it is fully depressed. Leave the EXTRACTOR in place to draw out the venom for the time indicated for each animal.
4. Remove the EXTRACTOR by lifting the piston with your thumb tip. Clean the wound with an antiseptic.

Repeat from step 2 if the pain does not go away after the first application.

USAGE

Adjust the suction time* using the chart as a guide.

Using the EXTRACTOR pump does not replace urgent medical consultation with a doctor in case of scorpion sting, snake bite, or any other injury causing a severe reaction in the victim.

ANIMAL — Suggested suction time

  • Wasp, bee, hornet… → 1 to 3 minutes
  • Mosquito, fly… → 20 to 30 seconds
  • Weever fish, jellyfish, stonefish… → 2 to 3 minutes
  • Spider, scorpion… → 1 to 2 minutes

* Suction can be repeated until the pain disappears after a break.

IMPORTANT : The pump can reduce the amount of venom but does not prevent a severe allergic reaction.
If you have a history of allergies (especially to hymenoptera), it is essential to have an emergency kit (antihistamine, corticosteroid, adrenaline auto-injector) and to seek immediate medical attention if severe symptoms occur.
