MARIE BASTIÉ

Sports instructor & volunteer firefighter

biography

Always active in sports, I grew up with movement as a guiding thread. After starting very young with gymnastics, I gradually turned to fitness, muscle strengthening, running, weightlifting, and functional training.
Very naturally, my path led me to sports coaching, with an approach focused on well-being, balance, and respect for the body, while aiming for progress and achievement.

Beyond sport, I place great importance on moments with myself, essential to refocus and recharge. Nature and the mountains are an integral part of my balance: they are spaces of freedom, calm, and inspiration that nourish both my personal energy and my way of supporting others.

Today, I am committed to sharing a vision of sport that benefits both body and mind, sustainable, mindful, and suited to each individual.

Landmarks & field tips

🌿 1. Adapt to the terrain, not the other way around
The mountain dictates its rules. Observe, feel, adjust your pace, your route, and your effort. Knowing when to slow down is part of progress and safety.

🧠 2. Listen to your body before your ego
Your energy level is never the same every day. Learn to recognize the signs: fatigue, cold, lack of concentration. Adapting your outing means longevity and avoiding injuries.

⏳ 3. Be patient and savor the journey
Don't rush things. Progress is built over time, through consistency, and enjoyment. Every outing is an experience, not a performance at all costs.
