Antoine MARIETTA-ALEINA

Mechanical Engineer

biography

Born in Grenoble on 07/06/2001, I have moved around a lot: Grenoble, Chambéry, Sion (Switzerland), Annecy, and also Lyon. I have always had one foot in the mountains and a passion for sports in general (football, judo, tennis, alpine skiing…). After completing a Technical University Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Production at Annecy, I returned to Grenoble for my engineering school. 2025 marks the end of my studies in Grenoble in mechanics/product engineering!

Thanks to my parents, I was able to start mountain sports very early with ski touring, which I discovered a passion for and which later led me to trail running to “keep in shape.” Eventually, I took a liking to race bibs in summer in addition to those I already wore in winter! Today, I give growing importance to my summer season, as I cannot fully combine both at 100%.

Discovering races and distances I do not know (100 km and more) while aiming as high as possible in the rankings. Improving on the formats where I have already performed (20, 40, 80 km), and continuing to vary the distances for my own enjoyment!
