• Step 1 — Provide the necessary information

Before adding the service to your cart, complete the questionnaire on this product page.

This information allows us to process your installation and organize the return of your shoes after the service. Be sure to provide your full postal address, as this is where we will send back your shoes and gaiters.

There is no longer a form to download or print: the information is directly linked to your order.

• Step 2 — Try on your shoes and gaiters

Whether you buy your shoes and gaiters on the Raidlight site, or only the gaiters, we ask you to try the products before sending them to us.

The installation is a permanent operation : it is important to be sure of the shoe model that will accompany you in the desert.

• Step 3 — Send your shoes

Shipping the shoes is your responsibility, via the carrier of your choice.

⚠️ To avoid any customs issues, please declare the package as a gift or sample with a value of 1€.

Please send clean shoes, without laces and without insoles.

We disclaim all responsibility for any issues during transit until the package arrives at our facility.

If you wish, you can print your order summary and include it in your package to help identify your shoes. This is not mandatory.

• Step 4 — Receipt and inspection

Upon receiving your package, our team checks that the shoes are clean, compliant, and compatible with the installation.

We reserve the right to refuse the installation if the shoes do not meet the conditions listed below.

• Step 5 — Gaiter installation

Our workshop sews the velcro strip onto your shoes to allow the attachment of the desert gaiters.

From the receipt of your package, allow between 5 and 15 days before return.

• Step 6 — Return of your shoes and gaiters

Once the installation is complete, we send your shoes and gaiters back to you via Colissimo.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility and billed at actual cost. All returns are insured up to the value of the package.

• Step 7 — Receive your package

Your shoes are ready to face the desert.

• The installation of the gaiters is final: no returns or refunds will be possible once the work is done.
• For shoes equipped with QuickLace laces, please remove the system before sending. Otherwise, the lacing may block the sewing machine's access.
• We may refuse installation on certain models, for example the Sportiva Ultra Raptor, whose reinforcements are difficult to sew through.
• Raidlight reserves the right to refuse installation if the shoes are not suitable, in poor condition, equipped with incompatible lacing, or if they are not clean.
• Please remove the laces and insoles before sending.
• In case of installation refusal, we will return the package to you and the return shipping costs will be deducted from the installation refund.
