DONOVAN BAUDOT

Engineer and future mountain adventure organizer

biography

I discovered trail running two years ago, almost as a challenge. A year later, I was at the start of my first ultra UTMB (Wildstrubel 113 km), which I completed by building an approach based on terrain, endurance, and consistency.

Rather than following a traditional path, I take on committed projects: GR20 in 5 days, urban Everesting in Lyon (8849 m elevation gain), long outings in semi-autonomy. What I seek is not just performance, but experiences that test both body and mind.

Today, I have left my engineering career to focus on my outdoor projects: exploring and documenting to eventually create adventures and events in the mountains.

  • projects & news

I build an engaged trail running practice, adapting to the terrain and conditions, accepting that not everything can always be controlled. I know how to go fast, but above all, how to slow down to always see things through.

My strength is my resilience: continuing to move forward when everything goes wrong, without making excuses. Every outing, every project is a way to better understand my body, push my limits, and make long-term progress.

For me, the mountains are as much a learning ground as they are a playground.

    My next goals:
    ●Val d’Aran by UTMB – 100K

    ●UTMB Mont-Blanc – 100M

●Development of event formats (Urban Everesting)

Landmarks & field tips

My approach is based on a simple philosophy: to be semi-autonomous, light, and efficient in real-world conditions. This is where I find myself aligning with Raidlight's DNA, with ultralight equipment designed to last, adapt, and support long efforts while becoming unnoticeable.
