Un sueño convertido en necesidad
La idea de una gran aventura había acompañado a Joachim durante mucho tiempo. Pero fue un cambio en su vida lo que lo impulsó a transformar este proyecto en realidad. «Siempre había soñado con una gran travesía», cuenta. Con el HexaTrek encontró el terreno ideal: casi 3.000 kilómetros por recorrer y la oportunidad de dar un nuevo impulso a su camino personal y deportivo.
¿Qué es el HexaTrek?
El HexaTrek es la gran travesía de Francia por sus montañas: 3.035 km, 147.000 m de desnivel positivo, 14 parques naturales atravesados y 47 senderos GR® recorridos unidos en un solo hilo, de Wissembourg (Vosgos) a Hendaya (Pirineos Atlánticos). Un recorrido joven pero ya emblemático, atrae cada año a más aventureros, algunos para la totalidad, otros por tramos.
82 días para convertirse en finisher
Embajador de Raidlight, el belga Joachim Lefevre recorrió todo el itinerario entre el 15 de junio y el 10 de septiembre de 2025. Acostumbrado a las largas distancias (SwissPeaks 360, No Finish Line Bruselas – 350 km), reconoce que el HexaTrek es «un desafío de otra dimensión»:
«Había planeado ir más rápido… pero la ola de calor y las tormentas me recordaron que en 3.000 km, no eres tú quien decide. Este camino me enseñó paciencia y a soltar.»
A lo largo de los 82 días, tuvo que enfrentarse a condiciones meteorológicas extremas: dos episodios de ola de calor, lluvias torrenciales, granizo en el macizo del Mont-Blanc e incluso -4 °C en el refugio de Miage. Puertos alpinos, senderos escarpados, tormentas pirenaicas, noches gélidas bajo la tienda… los obstáculos se multiplicaron sin detenerlo jamás. Más aún que el esfuerzo, fue la dimensión humana lo que más le marcó: refugios improvisados, ayuda de «trail angels» y encuentros inesperados. «La dimensión humana, no la había imaginado. Dio muchos bonitos colores a la aventura.»
Más que una hazaña deportiva, una escuela de resiliencia
El HexaTrek no fue solo un rendimiento físico para Joachim Lefevre, se convirtió en una verdadera escuela de resiliencia. Día tras día, aceptó ralentizar, cambiar la mirada y acoger lo imprevisto. «Al principio pensaba en la performance. Pero un día entendí que lo que recordaría no serían los kilómetros de más, sino los encuentros, las historias compartidas, los desvíos que dan sentido.»
Esta evolución mental transformó su aventura: menos una búsqueda de cronómetro, más una experiencia humana e interior. Dará lugar a un documental titulado ¿Y después?, en el que Joachim volverá sobre su recorrido y los sacrificios necesarios para semejante travesía.
El equipo Raidlight al servicio de la ultra-distancia

A dream turned necessity
The idea of a great adventure had accompanied Joachim for a long time. The HexaTrek is the great crossing of France through its mountains: 3,035 km, 147,000 m of elevation gain, 14 natural parks crossed and 47 GR® trails used, all stitched into one route, from Wissembourg (Vosges) to Hendaye (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). A young yet already iconic trek, it attracts more adventurers each year—some for the full route, others for sections.
82 days to become a finisher
Raidlight ambassador, the Belgian Joachim Lefevre completed the entire route between June 15 and September 10, 2025. Experienced in ultra-distance events (SwissPeaks 360, No Finish Line Brussels – 350 km), he admits that the HexaTrek is “a challenge of another dimension”:
“I had planned to go faster... but the heatwave and storms reminded me that on 3,000 km, it’s not you who decides. This trail taught me patience and letting go.”
Over 82 days, he faced extreme weather: two heatwaves, torrential rains, hail in the Mont Blanc massif, and even -4 °C at the Miage refuge. Alpine passes, steep trails, Pyrenean storms, freezing nights in a tent… the obstacles multiplied but never stopped him. More than the effort, it was the human dimension that marked him: improvised shelters, help from “trail angels,” and unexpected encounters. “The human side, I hadn’t imagined it at all. It added so many beautiful colors to the adventure.”
More than a sporting feat, a school of resilience
The HexaTrek was not only a physical performance for Joachim Lefevre, it became a true school of resilience. Day after day, he learned to slow down, change perspective, and welcome the unexpected. “At first, I thought about performance. Then one day I realized what I would remember wasn’t the extra kilometers, but the encounters, the stories shared, the detours that give meaning.”
This shift in mindset transformed his adventure: less about chasing time, more about human and inner experience. It will give birth to a documentary entitled And After, where Joachim reflects on his journey and the sacrifices required for such a crossing.
