Raidlight is proud to be a partner of the Grand Raid de la Réunion since 2015.

The Grand Raid, the legendary Ultra Race traversing the island of Reunion from North to South puts the whole peninsula in turmoil for a week. This race (which was voted the most iconic by French Ultra Runners in a poll in 2019) will take place from 21st to 24th October 2021.

Raidlight is proud to continue this partnership with the whole team of the Grand Raid which gathers participants from all horizons around the same passion.

Benoît Laval, founder and president of Raidlight has taken part several times in this race which is very close to his heart: "With 6 participations including a 2nd place and three times in the top 5, the Grand Raid is the ultra that has offered me extraordinary emotions and given me the passion of Reunion Island. The Grand Raid is an organisation on a human scale, and a race that rhymes with conviviality, authenticity, adventure, sharing, ... values very close to those of Raidlight. It is therefore with pride that we have been able to associate Raidlight as a partner of the Grand Raid."

The Grand Raid includes 4 races:

- The Diagonale des fous, 166km, 9611m of elevation

- The Trail du Bourbon, 112km, 6568m of elevation

- The Mascareignes, 74km, 4040m of elevation

- The Zembrocal (relay), 182km, 11167m of elevation
