Constructed from UPF50 fabrics, the Sahara Cap, as its name suggests..., was developed for desert races like the Marathon des Sables, 4 Deserts etc. A large peak helps create shade for the face and the "Sahara" or "legionnaires" neck flap is adjustable to fix onto the peak for maximum protection, part way to still cover the ears, or fully removable for use as a normal run cap.

I have been satisfied with this cap. It does a good job keeping the sun away. The previous version's flaps were a bit too large to my liking though.

It's a peaked cap - simple, well-built, does the job. The neck flap on this version is bigger than the Mk1. I'm still not sure whether it was a good idea. Outside of full-on desert conditions, having the flap covering the sides is overkill. However, the velcro attachment allows for various options, which is good.
The little pocket at the back baffles me. What's it for? There's a little icon which seems to show a mobile phone. Or am I mistaken?
The build quality is good, as one would expect from a cap that costs 25 euros.
However, here's the big negative point: It's made in China. Raidlight is a French company. It should make its products in France. If production costs in France are so astronomically high as to bankrupt the company, it could always find a factory in Romania, or Moldova, or Ukraine. Or at least India. We've had enough of stuff made in countries ruled by dictators. Allez, didn't your president say "Il faut être autonomes."? Then be patriotic and make your items in France.
