We have always been passionate about adventurous trail running. The Revolutiv Protect is an evolution of the Revolutiv, the high ankle sock construction provides you with additional protection from stones, gravel and other detritus entering your shoe.
< Show LessThe high sock replaces the need to use a separate gaiter, fitting like a gasket around your ankle with a full internal sock construction creating a unique dual system of integrated shoe and gaiter. The TWS (Tendon Wrapping System) on the outer part of the shoe creates a solid fit between foot and shoe. Add a D+ Grip Dynamic outsole with an aggressive 6mm tread and a Dual+, dual density midsole and you get the best companion for the toughest terrain.
The Dual+ Midsole is dual density system. Softer areas are next to the heel for absorption when heel striking and also next to the ground in the forefoot to help spread point pressure from rocks and roots. The midsole also has a torsion bar in the midfoot to increase support and stability while keeping the forefoot free to move and adapt to terrain changes.

Always wash off mud while still wet. Allow to dry naturally. Remove insoles and clean, remove dirt from inside shoe.
Do not use washing machine, tumble dryer, radiators etc.
These shoes are designed for trail running, if you run on tarmac, hard surfaces a lot, you will wear out the tread faster than you think...

PROTECTION
Just like using an additional gaiter, but all built in. The full inner sock construction with extended ankle sleeve is constructed in a neoprene type material, perfect for colder, wetter weather underfoot, not waterproof, but does help keep your feet a little warmer, plus it helps keep the stones out.
DYNAMIC
The dual density midsole combined with a Torsion bar for midfoot stability allows for a cushioned dynamic stride without feeling unsupported. Supporting the heel and midfoot, but allowing your forefoot to move with the terrain angle. The midsole softer sections are closest to the ground on the forefoot to help spread the load of a sharp rock, and on the top of the heel section to improve cushion for heel striking.
GRIP
6mm deep lugs with a wide spaced tread copes with most of the mud. Reversed pattern on the heel for braking. Our go anywhere tread pattern combined with top friction D+ Grip natural rubber blend to keep you from taking a slide.
