Desert gaiters are made from lightweight highly breathable sandproof material and are reinforced over the front of the toe for extra durability.

The gaiter is attached to the shoe by hook and loop fixing. The hook tape needs to be glued or sewn to the shoe as close to the midsole as possible to create a good seal. Pull gaiter on, put on shoe, then close.

It is quick and easy to release for adjusting laces during the day. If you are doing a desert race like Marathon des Sables / 4 Deserts series etc. then you need these gaiters.

Excellent !

Déjà qu’on ne trouve pas beaucoup de guêtres désert. Mais en plus celles-ci sont réussies! Déjà rapport qualité prix, c’est parfait. Testées dans des pits de sable et bientôt au Pérou, cette guêtre de désert est parfaitement adapté à ce genre de terrain; rien ne passe? Elle ne gêne pas le pied ni le mouvement et se scratche et se déscratche facilement, tout en gardant son maintien sur les chaussures en tout temps, malgré le volume de sable. Le scratch est très solide d’après mon cordonnier, donc 👌

Acheté pour le marathon des sables, je les ai testés sur une sortie en bord de mer avant de les amener dans le désert. Collées et cousues, elles sont parfaites.

The gaiter is made from a very tight weave sandproof material which maintains good breathability.

The toe area of the gaiter has a reinforced panel to give good durability when crossing rocky sections.

Sustainability

At Raidlight we are aware of the transition that companies need to make to towards more sustainability. Things are complicated... we only manage to use 10% recycled material on this specialist product.
